Welcome to Bookmark Your Next Chapter, a podcast hosted by Katie, Amanda and Kristen; three friends who love books! We started this podcast in 2025, but between some major life events we didn’t start publishing episodes until 2026. We have been full steam ahead since then and have some really exciting things planned for you!

Here at BYNC, we want everyone to feel loved, celebrated, and welcome. The community we are building is a safe space for all, and we always want to hear your thoughts and feelings on the books and topics we discuss. Interacting with you is the very reason we do this!

We are so happy you are here. Thank you for being a part of our bookworm community and for carving out your book club time with us each week.

We will see you all at our Next Chapter!

Amanda

I loved the idea of being part of a book club, but after trying to create and join some, life got in the way every time. Between busy schedules, conflicting calendars, and trying to finish books on the same timeline, it became clear that traditional book clubs just weren’t realistic for everyone – especially not for me!!

That’s one of the biggest reasons I wanted to be part of this podcast. I loved the idea of creating a book club experience that anyone could join, no matter where they live or how busy life gets. There are no deadlines, no pressure to keep up, and no guilt if it takes a little longer to finish a book. Just read at your own pace, press play when you’re ready, and join the conversation.

I’m excited to help build a welcoming community where readers can experience the excitement, emotions, theories, and discussions that make book clubs so much fun. Whether you’re reading along as episodes are released or discovering them months later, I hope you’ll always feel like you have a book club to come back to.

Katie

I always liked the idea of doing a podcast and a book club one just fit perfectly because it also met my want of HAVING a book club haha.

The three of us have been friends for most of my life and we can talk for hours (as our listeners are probably aware of lol) so it was a natural fit. We had said multiple times, even if not one single person listened to this, we would still do it. Because life is busy and it’s so amazing to have scheduled time in my life to just talk about books with my two best friends.

My hope for this podcast is to expand our book club and be able to build our own little bookworm community. A community where everyone is welcome and loved and celebrated. Where difference in opinion is encourage and talked about and where respect always comes first.

Thank you for being a part of this with us! We are honoured to have you here

Kristen

I think I’ve spoked about this multiple times, but books have been a major part of my life for as long as I can remember, from book fairs in school to book smut bingo now. The moment we even considered the idea of a podcast, I was immediately onboard, the chance to talk books with my closests friend? I didn’t have to be asked twice. I won’t lie and say I wasn’t nervous to talk on a mic, but it’s probably one of the best decisions I’ve made as it’s just so much fun.

The more we got talking, the more we came up with what we wanted the Pod to be and we wanted to create this community where everyone feels safe and included, truly like a bookclub, but with the fun bonus of, if you read fast or slow, the epsiodes will always be there, so you can take it at your own pace (and we’ll all be happy to talk to you all, even if it’s been years).

I’m so excited for what we are building, and what we hope to continue to build, and we hope you stick around to see what new books we dive into next and maybe even join at our next potluck where we can hear all your crockpot theories!
